Meet Your Judge
Judge Susan Weaver was born and raised in the 20th Judicial District where she has now tried hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanors to murder cases. Growing up in rural Arkansas, Judge Weaver learned the value of family, education, integrity, and hard work from her parents, church, and the great people in the 20th Judicial District. Judge Weaver has dedicated herself to be the very best leader, public servant, lawyers, prosecutor, and Judge that she can be.
Judge Weaver continued her dedication to the great state of Arkansas, receiving her degree from the University of Central Arkansas and attending law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She served as the first administrative assistant/jury coordinator for Faulkner County circuit courts and has worked at the 20th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s office as a Deputy Prosecutor. Judge Weaver owned and operated her own law firm and has been a District Court Judge for Faulkner and Van Buren Counties since 2013.
Judge Weaver has had the opportunity to represent real people with real cases in court, including divorce, custody, guardianships, and other family law and civil cases. She understands the concerns and struggles we face each day and how to appropriately handle these issues in the courtroom. Judge Weaver is the boots on the ground experience we need in the 20th Judicial District.
